Sunshine Coast Hinterland
Flinders Medical Centre - Montville is located on the top of the Blackall Ranges, part of the beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland, famous for its scenery, organic food and artists. The town is located at the centre of the range and is a popular destination for tourists visiting the Sunshine Coast region. The area has a fantastic sub- tropical climate with warm days and cool nights, due to the advantage of a higher elevation on the range, there are stunning walks locally through rainforest with many waterfalls.
The town boasts sweeping views down to the Sunshine Coast including popular tourist destinations such as Maroochydore, Noosa and Coolum. Although small, Montville is close to a number of other communities including Maleny and Maroochydore, only a 15 or 45 minute drive away respectively.
Getting To and From Montville
Maroochydore is home to the Sunshine Coast airport with direct flights to Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, Brisbane is an easy 1.5 hours drive from Montville on the main east coast highway. Montville is an excellent location to work with its rural status but proximity to larger urban locations and infrastructure.
